Herakles Plus Top Fill Tank By Sense

This tank is amazing and does not leak if you follow these guidelines. Shut off the juice flow prior to filling, leave the bottom and top air flow open, fill the tank, replace the top, open the flow control. This will keep the air pressure from building inside the tank while refilling. Failure to fill properly will cause the air pressure inside the tank to push the juice down and it will leak out of the bottom of the tank. I can store by full tank for an endless amount of time without it leaking because I take the following steps: shut off the juice flow and vape 5 times. This will get out the juice that has been absorbed into the coil's wick. Otherwise the liquid will seep out over time and will leak out of the bottom of the tank when you are not using it. This is not a flaw of the tank, it is no different than hanging what happens when line drying wet clothes.

I've used the original Herakles since it was released, and I still love it. I wanted to try the Plus because it claimed better airflow and better flavor (plus being a top fill), and it delivers. The dual airflow makes this suitable for all types of vape flavors. I primarily use tobacco blends, and now I can simulate the feeling of a pipe, cigar, or cigarette of any "packed" draw I want. Fully open and this thing will kick down to the bottom of your lungs in less than a second. The flavor production is definitely better. Maybe 10-15% or more. I actually have to adjust my temp down now most of the time, even though the atomizer is the same resistance as my original model (.6 ohm). If I don't the throat hit is actually TOO good. This might work great for people who like their juices really watered down. If I crank up the temp the juice flows so well that it crackles and pops. After some wear in I suppose I can get away with it. There are no gimmicks like threaded glass, hard to clean parts, expensive attys, etc. I love finally being able to top fill! To the user that complained about the leakage, good job reading the manual. There's also a LABEL that is clearly visible on the bottom flow control that says ON/OFF with arrows pointing left and right. The unit may leak some juice if it gets too hot (like left in the car), so just get in the habit of sliding it off when your done with it. It becomes second nature easily. The leakage is VERY minimal if it does happen. So far I've never had a leakage issue while vaping, even during heavy sessions. The black model that I bought is difficult to see how open the vents are, but simply drawing in while adjusting them will actually make it easier to customize the front and back end flow than simply using your eyes. So far I've tried at least a half dozen other popular models of tanks from friends, and although I've been more impressed by their airflow from my original Herakles, mine still made better flavor, and now the Plus blows most of them away for both flavor production and airflow. I highly recommend it.

Good loooking tank with great top and bottom air flow adjustment, and the top fill is a plus in my book. The onr thing that this tank does that I hate is it leaks through the bottom air flow holes. For that I would not recommend this tank nor would I have purchased it had I know that it was prone to leak. The choice is yours if you want great tasting juice, good clouds and a top fill tank than this is for you as long as you can handle the leaking which I can not.

It's a nice tank. Top fill is a plus. Openings are a little small though. Haven't had a leakage problem so far. It's on the tall side, not very discrete. Good for home use.
